We are actively engaged in R&D to exploit applications of cosmic ray muons in industrial applications and for public engagement. We recently completed a project in collaboration with AWE to develop a portable muon scattering tomography device for nuclear security applications. We are currently exploring the possibility of updating and adapting our apparatus as a compact, portable, autonomous device for industrial survey. We have also made studies of the potential for surveying structures such as buildings and bridges.
