Minutes
DSP Code
- Crashed when running scans. Bruce investigating as a top priority, with as much help from Doug? as possible.
- DSP source to be made available as a priority.
Other problems:
- Problem with SctApi to DSP communication.
- Try bug fix - double timeout and try again - to be done at Cambridge.
- Resource conflict - AnalysisService and ArchivingService competing at end of Test. Alessandro? trying some fixes to save raws and fits as they are produced, with communication from Alan.
- In threshold curves, the DSP is histogramming of all channels, not just those under the active Cal pulse, leading to problems at small threshold.
- Problem with FullBypassTest
- seems to be a DSP issue.
- on the DCS side, Alessandro? reports problems recovering from trips in the SctHv? and the SctLv?, on some cards. Software fix being attempted, obviously a big concern.
Sct week
- 45 minutes total of summary talk to be given at CERN by JohnHill?, Bruce and Matt.
- Demonstration of how to install and run the system to be given during sct week.
Releases
Agreed ReleaseSchedule- Within days, bug fix 2.01 to be released with fix to NoiseOccupancy? and Api timeout if possible, with detailed release notes as to what dosent work and why. List of known issues also to be placed in SctRodDaqRelease2.1.
- Driven by need to test the NoiseOccupancy? on a module with optial readout by the 8th December.
- By start of January SctRodDaqRelease3 to be a version good enough MacroAssembly?.
Java data model was decided to be a cosmetic issue, and will not be attempted in the immediate term.
Outstanding needs
The requirement of supporting multiple ROD and TIM for MacroConstruction? was again noted. Also the on-going issue of ModuleGroup?s.
It was agreed that the Configuration could do with integration, between the sctConfGUI and the SctGui.
