The configuration includes the various elements:
- Module configuration
- Module locations
- Power supply parameters
- BOC parameters

How should historical configurations be handled?
- Via factory interface that returns read only interface as if using old configuration.
- Different IPC reference
How to implement them?
- All in one xml file (gets corrupted)
- Lots of xml files
- Interface to Archiving or other persistent storage.
It has a little known GUI called sctConfGUI!
Which is totally useless until you realise that you should right-click everywhere! Then is suddenly becomes a lot more useful!
But, there are still many things that can't be changed using it. Some of this should be more possible with ABCDModule in java/ILU.
