SCTDAQ Reports
The SCTDAQ tab is available under the 'Test Data' and 'Barrel Modules' or 'EndCap Modules' tabs.
Example 1: How to generate a spreadsheet of (say) the ENC noise from ResponseCurve tests for all modules/hybrids from a certain cluster
- Go to the 'SCTDAQ' tab, select the cluster and leave the serial number range 1 to 9999.
- Select a ResponseCurve test
- Select required tempeature
- Click on 'List Tests'
- A spreadsheet appears listing all the data, as seebn below. NOTE: you may have to expand the application window and change column sizes
to view all the data.
Example 2: How to view and optionally save the raw data from any test
- Go to the 'SCTDAQ' tab, select the required cluster, test type and range of serial numbers (or just one serial number of the device you wish)
- Select required tempeature
- Click on 'List Tests'
- A spreadsheet appears listing all the data. Click on the exact test you require. The button 'Raw Data' becomes available (see below).
- Click on the 'Raw Data' button, and the raw data is downloaded, unzipped (it was zipped when it was stored in the database!), and display:
- Note there may be more than one data file. For example the trim raw data files contain both the trim data and the mask data.
To switch between data, simply select the 'Filename' menu and change it.
Example 3: How to display all details from any given test (say, the noise occupancy)
- First list the test in the spreadsheet:
- Go to the 'SCTDAQ' tab, select the required cluster, test type 'Noise' and a serial number or range of serial numbers.
- Select required tempeature
- Click on 'List Tests'
- A spreadsheet appears listing all the Noise data. Click on the exact test you require. The button 'Full Data' becomes available (see below).
- Click on 'Full Data', and a web report appears listing the DAQ, DCS, Scan info, the test data, the defects, and the links to plots, as
shown below. If plots are available, click on the link to download the ps file and launch the postscript viewer.
Example 4: How to display a summary of all tests on any given module/hybrid.
- EITHER, select 'Items' tab, enter the 14-digit serial no, select 'Full Report' and click on 'Submit Query', OR do the following:
- Go to the 'SCTDAQ' tab, select the required cluster, enter a serial number or range of serial numbers.
- Select required tempeature
- Click on 'List Tests'
- A spreadsheet appears listing all the data (for whatever data type you selected).
Click on a row which corresponds to the serial number you require. The 'All Tests' button becomes available:
- Click on the 'All Tests' button.
- A web report is generated, listing all tests from any institute, with links to full-detailed test reports, and (if available) raw data
and plots. Cick on the links to view any item (just like a web browser).
Example 5: How to display plots for any test.
- Generate a web report, either for all tests (as in example 4 or for any specific test (as in example 3)
- Any available plots will be shown as links.
- Click on the link to download the ps file. NOTE: you should select the full filepathname of a postscript application viewer in your
'Preferences' - if you do this, the postscript viewer is automatically launched when the ps file is downloaded.
