A first comparison between data and Monte Carlo:

Data: run 9285, using eventsr files from Indiana

MC: run 211 cosmic muons; flux file from Jim with theta-dependent energy spectra

Consider only tracks with start and end point in SM1 (z < 15m); normalise distributions to same number of tracks with this cut

1) Vertex position

trk.vtx.x

trk.vtx.y

trk.vtx.z

Radial distance from edge of detector:

trk.fidvtx.dr

And after removing those within 50cm of ends:

trk.fidvtx.dr_cut

2) Direction cosines at vertex

trk.vtx.dcosx

trk.vtx.dcosy

trk.vtx.dcosz

N.B. MC from old flux file poorer description of data:

trk.vtx.dcosz_r210

3) Number of planes

trk.plane.n

4) Track length

trk.ds

5) Number of strips

trk.nstrip

6) Momentum

trk.momentum.range

trk.momentum.qp

7) Pulse height......
