Release Notes for project files (22 August 2003)

The Power Supply project has now fully operational IV curve.
The IV curve works for all channels individually and all parameters can be set
from DAQ or by hand in the DCS Diagnostic panel in the following order:

crate|channel|start|stop|step|end|Imax|Iwarn|Twait
for example
0|3|50|350|50|100|1000|900|10

it is important the Twait is not smaller than 10 sec.

Two files are written at the end of an IV curve scan which are written
in the DAQ format suggested by Dave. The two files are:

- an uplaod file <serialno>_<date>.txt
- a raw data file <serialno>_<date>_<time>.txt

an IV curve is also plotted at the end of the scan in the diagnostic panel 
under the IV curve tab by clicking on the "get last IV curve plot" button.

The cooling project software is also ready.
For the cooling unfortunately the hardware (the PLC) is not ready 
for communication in Oxford.
This is because the people that have installed the PLC have not finished their 
software installation work when they came back from Oxford. 
We are trying to help out Oxford people with this.
