HERWIG

Since the release of HERWIG 6.1 I've been one of the authors of HERWIG.
I have mainly been involved in the simulation of SUSY processes in HERWIG. In particular R-parity violation and spin correlations.
The official HERWIG web-site. Contains the most update version of HERWIG

R-PARITY IN HERWIG

This is the part of the simulation on which I have mainly been working. HERWIG6.1 contains a full simulation of all R-parity violating SUSY decays and production processes in Hadron-Hadron collisions.

Preliminary versions os the HERWIG code were made available for the ATLAS-HERWIG working group in Cambridge and the Les-Houches workshop. For the time being this is still available here, although you should now use the official version.

In the period before the release of version 6.1 I and Herbi Dreiner gave talks about the simulation. You can get the following talks here.

Since then we have released a paper on this subject, which can be obtained here

Other parts of HERWIG

In addition to the main HERWIG code I have been involved with the interface of other programs to HERWIG.

ISAWIG

ISAWIG is the interface between HERWIG and ISAJET which is used to produce a file containing the SUSY spectrum and decay rates which is read by HERWIG. This package also includes in addition to the MSSM rates calculated by ISAJET all the 2-body squark and slepton and 3-body gaugino and gluino R-parity violating decay rates.

The code for ISAWIG can be obtained here.

HERWIG-HDECAY interface

HERWIG also now includes the option of using HDECAY for Standard Model and MSSM Higgs Decays. This package allows the use of NLO decay rates and branching ratios.

The interface routines can be obtained here

HERBVI

I also seem to have become responsible for the maintenance of Mark Gibbs and Bryan Webber's package for simulating lepton and baryon number violation in the Standard Model. In this case maintenance means that it will now work with the latest version of HERWIG.

This can be obtained here.
