Direct Flights between Geneva and London Stansted airports

Since April 1996 the airline Flightline-Alpine has operated a regular charter flight service directly between London Stansted and Geneva airports. This is expected to continue all year. However, there are only a very limited number of flights - only five per week during 1996 and fewer still during winter 1997. Note also that no in-flight meals nor alcoholic drinks are served, only biscuits and coffee or tea.

Stansted is the closest of the London airports to Cambridge. Buses run approximately hourly to Cambridge, taking about 45 minutes. From the bus station it is at least a 20 minute walk to the Cavendish (via Burrell's Walk and the Coton footpath - see map ), or you can take a taxi.
